Frequently Asked Questions

A few things people often ask before we start working together.

Not at all. Many clients come to me with just a feeling or a few references. Part of my role is to help you shape the brief together. A consultation is a great starting point if you’re unsure where to begin.

Amsterdam is home and where I know the architecture, suppliers and trades best, but I also have extensive knowledge of the UK, being British, and work with clients in the US too. Much of the sourcing and direction work can be done remotely, so geography is rarely a barrier.

It depends on the scope. A single room might take a few weeks; a full home can unfold over several months. I work at a pace that feels right for the project, and I’ll always give you a realistic sense of timelines at the outset.

I focus on sourcing and curation rather than architectural drawings or construction management. Think of me as the person who brings the vision, the pieces and the material palette together. I often work alongside architects or contractors, or independently on homes that don’t need structural work.

No. I’m just as happy helping you find the right sofa as I am curating an entire home. One-off consultations are a great option for smaller needs.
